tip for blowing the dust from drilled holes

Maybe this isn’t the best tip, but maybe it will help a few of you. I was hanging some more lumber racks and needeed to attach them to my walls using lag screws that went through my drywall and into the studs. After drilling these large holes, I also needed to cut a recess for a large fender washer. The recess got all clogged with drywall dust and wood chips so I went to blow it out. Whenever I blow out the dust myself, I get covered in the dust myself.

My solution is to use the fan that ventilates my corded drill. It actually provides a good burst of air out the side of the drill. I just hold it up to the hole and turn it on for 1 second and everything is cleared out.

This isn’t rocket science, but maybe it will help someone else who overlooked an obvious solution.
