This is my try at the Rob Cosman box. I used curly maple and purpleheart for the box pictured here. I made several from lacewood/curly maple and Padauk/curly maple. They were fun to make. I used a beading bit to make 3/8” curly maple dowels hinges and a 3/8” cove bit to set the dowel in. I used an incra gig to make the box joints and things fit together nicely. I made 12 boxes total and gave all of them to friends and family.
