My latest small Table Saw find.

Yep, I said small, as in 8”. It’s an old Montgomery Wards Powr Kraft. I’m not sure about how old it is yet, but I thought that it was kind of a neat little saw. If you look real closely at the pic, on the right side of the cabinet there is a handwheel also there for beveling the blade. A few of the old small saws don’t have that feature. Anyway, everything seems to be there, none of the bolts are rusted tight, and the mechanisms inside work pretty well now after giveing it a couple squirts of penetrating oil here and there. Amazeingly enough it still had a Powr Kraft saw blade in it, and it diidn’t even feel that dull. Now I plan on takeing it all apart and doing a resto job on it. Today I got most of the chrome clean and buffed out, and looked the machine over pretty well to get a plan of attack. I think that the cast top is going to be next, cleaning it up with a wire cup brush on an angle grinder, then wax it up good.
