A really short and boring review

I ordered Veritas chipbreaker / A2 iron sets for my WWI vintage #3 (1-3/4”) and WWII vintage #8 (2-5/8”) Stanley planes.

I took them out of the package, shaved my forearm. and put the beefy, chatter-free, perfectly seated pair to work. That’s it… end of story!

NO ADDITIONAL WORK WAS REQUIRED!

In my eyes, this might be the best iron / breaker deal in history. No opening the mouth, no flattening the back, no honing, no fettling the chipbreaker…
