The flag box was made for my best friends fathers flag. He served in Korea and was awarded the purple heart. The box is made of curly cherry and curly maple. There are 7 maple stripes and 7 cherry stripes to symbolize the red and white stripes of the flag. The finish is bush finishing oil.
