Which Blade for compound mitre saw?

I have a compound mitre saw (gmc) and I'm looking to get a new blade for it. It is a 250mm (10 inch), 16mm bore. The standard blade is 3.2mm wide and 24 teeth. I'd like something that is still fairly general purpose, but with a smoother finish, particularly in soft woods. I use it for some joint cutting, and it would be nice to get a cleaner cut. It's for home workshop use, with fine woodworking,
Mostly softwoods, but some hardwood, ply, chip board, whatever.

What should I be looking...
