Hey guys, looking for some help here. I have an oak box lid that I stained with a Jacobean color. I want to put some carved pieces of pine as inlay. I’m assuming I have to seal the pine in some way before putting it in the channels I carved in the lid? I’m worried that when I put the poly on it will cause the dark stain to bleed into the light colored pine.
Any tips would be helpful!
