The UK Government has started the process of appointing financial advisers to support discussions with the Netherlands and Germany regarding the potential sale of the UK’s stake in Urenco.
An Invitation to Tender for financial advisers has now been issued. The Government expects to appoint financial advisers in five to six weeks.
No final decision has been made on the future of the Government’s one-third stake in Urenco.
