My wife pays the bills and years ago that meant doing it at the kitchen table. It made a painful process even more so. So I designed and built this desk for her. It’s a take-off of the roll top desks that have shelve and pigeon holes to store stuff. There’s also a light in the middle, lower cubby. Also, the drawer fronts were cut from the desk front so the grain would be continuous.
Pine and birch plywood. Had it about 15 years and then we sold it at a garage sale.
