The handle got broken off of this cane that belongs to a friend o mine. I drilled out the old piece that was broken (thnks to a very helpful LJ), and while turning the ball/handle, I turned a tenon to fit the drilled hole. It is a piece of Maple, and stained with Generals Candlelight wood stain, and 3 coats o clear from a spray can. It’s not a very good match, but, it looks ok. If you look closely at the brass rings/bandings, there is a button there. When pushed, you can weild a nice little sword that is built into the handle and disquised in the cane. Very kool. Thnx in advance for looks/critics, etc… Feels good ta git back out in the shop.. :)
