A few of the LJ have posted cigar box guitar so I thought i would give it a try. This was a great project! There was a lot of research into the making of a guitar which added to the fun. The cigar box is made of cedar and the neck is fretted and made of walnut. I used General clear coat as a finish sanded down to 320.Learning about the history of these guitars and build one seams to be addictive. Before I was finished with this one I was looking for cigar boxes to build the next cbg. Now to find the time to learn how to play.
