Oak Bar Chairs

I always looked up to chair making as one of the highest forms in our craft. Even as a little kid I marveled at how they were constructed. I’ve always idealized those who could confidently call themselves “Chairmakers.” Though I’m not there yet I relish the chance every time I get to practice this high art in woodworking. These simple oak chairs where a real treat to get to design and build. Every part was fun from designing to scooping the seat. If you’re reluctant to try this don’t be, just jump in the deep end of the pool and start paddling. It very fun once you get the hang of it. And there is nothing like sitting in a handmade chair!
