Something new CNC machines 4th Axis CNC

4th Axis CNC Have a problem and I�m hoping some one may be able to help. If you put a pre made pen of small object with a curvature and you would like to engrave a name into the wood , plastic metal etc . How do you tell the program that the object in the 4 axis has a round with a curvature surface , is there a gadget out there to scan the object.
