I want to stain a pine floor dark - very dark.
It's cyprus (I think) i.e. nothing special.
The gloss finish was down before we moved in and I need to get rid of it before I stain the floor.
Crikey, that gloss is hard.
I've got my trusty ROTEX RO 150 and it can be done, but it's going to take a while and chew through a lot of sanding discs.
Can I strip the poly chemically? Get a heat gun? What do you reckon?
