December, 2012—Small scraps from larger projects are often tossed in the trash. However when I can I try to glue up small pieces to make “chunks” of wood large enough to make small boxes. These four boxes are about 3 to 4 inches in the longest dimension. I use a 3-16ths 10-TPI blade in my band saw. These are finished with satin poly.
These small boxes are handy for storing rings, coins, thumb-drives, or anything small.
