I have a generic 2HP dust collector that had a bag filter. This system, when started up, would give off a pretty good puff of dust in the air, kind of defeating what it was suppored to do. I recently bought a cannister filter and new bottom bag for this from Penn State. The overall permformance is much better and the dust in the shop much less. They give the filter a liftime warranty. They have differnt size filters to fit different rigs and for the price, wasn’t too bad when you include the warranty.
