I pays to save all the woodworking magazines from the past years, When you need something to make for any time of the year, Looking through some of the magizines some time ago, but not for this pictular project.
I found this and a few other projects I put on the list of maybe I’ll get to that some day. Thanks to the December 2001 woodworker’s Journal for the plans, but I motifyed them a little.
And with the legacy woodworking machine this project was a breaze to do the spiral and to do the hollowing out. Made with a solid 2 1/2” square of mahogany, I’m also making a set out of solid red oak.
