Solar training in New Jersey: Solar design and installation, sales, marketing, and the economics of solar

Solar training in the Garden State

Solar Energy International believes that people learn by doing. For people wanting to change careers, PV installers or designers, and homeowners, SEI has a solar training workshop to suit your needs. This month, Solar Energy International offers three courses in solar training in Bordentown, NJ:

PV101 Solar Training: Solar Electric Design and Installation (Grid-Direct), Nov. 15-19, provides an overview of the three basic PV system applications, primarily focusing on grid-direct systems. The goal of the course is to create a fundamental understanding of the core concepts necessary to work with all PV systems, including: system components, site analysis, PV module criteria, mounting solutions, safety, and commissioning. The course will also cover the basics of sizing a residential grid-direct system, wire sizing, overcurrent protection, and grounding - all of which will be expanded upon in PV202.

PV204
Solar TrAndy Blackaining: Solar Sales and Marketing on Nov. 20 is an intensive workshop for both solar salespeople and sales management/owners, Andy Black will share his secrets for setting up a solid and effective sales team, then generating tons of leads for and with them. The strategic insights you'll glean from this course will save and/or earn you thousands in avoided mistakes and increased sales.

Most customers know solar electricity is a sound environmental choice, but few are aware it can also be a remarkably sound investment. PV205 Solar Training: Economics of Solar on Nov. 21 is a rigorous interactive workshop designed to help dealers, installers, and salespeople understand and make the most accurate and compelling financial case possible for the value of PV systems. The class is focused on residential systems, tax rules, incentives, and best practices. Examples cover many states, but emphasis is on the local region.
