Walnut, Spalted Hackberry and Alder Bandsaw Jewelry Box with Neckless Drawer

I was inspired to build this box after seeing my mothers jewerly box she had on her dresser, she’s had it for several years, Matching the spalted hackberry with the walnut I thing worked very well as I’d hoped it would, I used Knotty Alder for the core of the box then used the hackberry for front and back then walnut to hide the edge grain along with base and top, the top I used spalted hackberry in the center to carry the front over and trimed it with walnut miter joints, it has 5 drawers the larger center drawer has my signiture hidden drawer in it and also a neckless drawer with 4 hooks I built this drawer with a wrap at the bottom to contain the loose end of the chain/neckless, it is flocked in a dark brown.
