Thanksgiving Greetings from the SEI Team

It?s hard to believe that 2012 is coming to an end. The days are getting shorter, the nights are colder, and snow is in the mountains. In this time of Thanksgiving, we have so much to be thankful for at Solar Energy International.

We are thankful for you? our alumni, our friends, and our supporters. You make SEI the incredible non-profit organization that it is. We?ve had over 22,000 people take training from SEI during our 21 years of non-profit service to the renewable energy industry. You trust us to provide you with incredible training and to be the voice of non-biased, ?here?s how it is? training. Thank you for believing in SEI and our mission.

I personally am so thankful for the staff at SEI. Breccia and Kathy F who take care of each participant who calls and who have provided career counseling to amazing numbers of people. Laura, Rebekah, Brian, Kris, and Jeff who develop incredible, progressive PV curriculum, our textbooks and hands-on training experiences?and they are also fantastic instructors! Phil who course manages all of our online courses?sometimes 4 at once. Matt, who oversees not only the campus but is our project manager extraordinaire. Tawnya, who works directly with over 30 contract technical instructors and ensures that each class goes smoothly. Chris S, who keeps the Paonia campus running smoothly and all of us happy. Noah, who singlehandedly taught over 2000 K-12 students in 2012 and who continues to grow our Solar In the Schools program to new levels. Chris T who is an endless source of incredible ideas and who can make things happen overnight. Paul and Sandy who ensure that SEI continues to remain financially sustainable. Johnny, our Co-Founder who helped bring us to this place and who continues to inspire. You make SEI the incredible organization that it is.

To our 35 instructors who teach for SEI, your commitment to each student and your dedication to advancing the industry make each class a truly memorable experience. You make SEI the incredible non-profit organization that it is.

To our Board of Directors who faithfully serve to ensure that SEI continues to thrive many many years from now, thank you. You make SEI the incredible organization that it is.
