I have had grizzly 2hp 1 mircon unit for a couple years now. I started using it from machine to machine but have been slowly plumbing my shop with 4 and 6 inch pvc pipe and moved the dc into a shed out of the shop.
Well it seems that my power was slowly going down the tubes and I went to buy some more fittings to improve the path——-when I got back from the pipe store I took off the filter to see how it was doing, never did that before as it has these fins that you spin——-oh my god!!! filter packed with dust——-cleaned it out and doubled the air flow—-big big difference.
so I guess I will make that a regular practice now.
