War of 1812 Chess Set; The Constitution versus The Guerierre

the board on this one measures over 36” square and weighs over 45 lbs. Kings stand about 10” tall…pawns about 4.5” tall. Hulls are basswood..pieces, board, and corner cannon from Maple, Walnut, and Red Oak. A lot of fun to play with!!! Kings (Captains), Queens (Lieutenants), Bishops (Midshipmen), Knights (Gunner’s mates), Rooks (Cannonball Pyramid), pawns (cannon).

I’ll get some better pics in a bit…got to get finished on the Western themed Set
