gas micro torch

Not really welding. But metalwork.
I bought a Rekrow butane micro torch years ago (model RK2020).
Has had a multitude of uses over time from heatshrink, silver work, general heating and melting.
I am really happy with its performance. I have used it very successfully for my small silverwork, rings and bangles etc.
But I think it needs some work/cleaning?
Instead of the normal pinpoint blue flame (hardly visible), I am getting a long yellow flame and a fluttering noise.
I am not game to...
