I’ve had this razor just hanging around and collection dust for nearly two years. Finally, after a bit of inspiration hit, I decided to try and restore it to its former glory. It turned out to be more work that I had expected but in the end, it is certainly worth it. When I decide to shave again, this will be my go-to weapon of choice.
Both the scales and brush handle are made from the same piece of stabilized Lace Maple burl. The brush is finished with a multitude of coats of CA and the scales are sealed with Tung oil.
Thank you all for looking.
