Made from walnut dimensions 3/16 of an inch going to 3/4 of an inch in diameter, eight inches long. This striker had the challenge of turning something down to 3/16 of an inch without exploding. Of course being somewhat of a new woodturner it made me a little nervous. But no problems everything worked out ok. The finish on this project was boiled linseed oil with a couple of coats of tung oil then a wax finsh.
