Just in time for the Winter season! I designed this little polar bear pull toy several months ago. He was featured in Creative Woodworks and Crafts magazine and even made the corner of the cover. I just got him back from New Jersey where the publishing offices of the magazine are and I am happy to be able to share him with you here.
I love designing these little pull toy replicas. They are fun and easy to make and are fun to dress up with stones and other cool pieces. This little guy is made of ash. His cart is made of ash too. I used the DecoArt Staining and Antiquing medium mixed with acrylic paints to give him a wash of white and painted in his little facial features.
I made him an icicle necklace of sterling silver and Swarovski crystals, and his cart wheels and snowflake pull also have crystal accents.
He is approximately 7” long and 5” high (without cart, which is 9” long). I just love him and I think he will be around until the Spring thaw! I hope you enjoy him too!
