Curved shoe bench

I made this for some friends who wanted something with curves that would serve as a place to store shoes at their backdoor, a place to sit while donning these shoes, and as a side table by their couch. I was originally going to do it as a bent lamination, but was unable to procure a drum sander cheaply, so I decided to try it as a bricklaid (bricklayed?) piece. Took about 50 hours. Woods are cherry and oregon black walnut, with ebony pegs.
