In keeping with the simpler projects I’m trying to do currently for health reasons, I was back in the shop today looking for something else small to do. I remembered the book above. I talked about it when I done an other project a while back from it and said then that I wanted to try some others from the book. It is a great book for both beginning scrollers or experienced.
So I settled on doing this wheelbarrow. The best use I can think of for it would be for potpourri. I just thought it was a neat little thing to do since I wanted to do some scrolling. I done it out of aromatic cedar. While this seems now like a good wood choice to me for the potpourri, that wasn’t what I was thinking when I chose the wood. It was just the only wood I had lying around already planed down to a thin thickness and I didn’t feel up to standing at the planer to prepare anything else. So, cedar is was.
It is 11” long, 3” wide, and stands 5” tall at it’s tallest point.
As you can see in the last photo though, I stack cut the material and made two of them at the same time.
